Anemoia

Anemoya is a feeling of nostalgia for a past in which a person has never lived.
In my series, I created photographs and memories that I will never be able to truly see and feel.
Even recent history has been largely forgotten and distorted. Pictures are not proof of the truth, because words and the context in which they are placed carry much more weight.
All I can do is create pictures distorted by my perception, based on the memories of other people, the stories of my family, history and artifacts.
